This was easier to put together than anything I’ve ever purchased from IKEA. I wanted it for my balcony and as you can see, it’s perfect. This is my first attempt at gardening, so I wanted something easy for beginners. This is it. If my herbs keep coming in like gangbusters, I’ll be ordering more to cover the edge of the balcony.

The composite ‘tub’ is perfect for Florida (where even sneakers rust...) and other high humidity locations. Lightweight enough to bring inside when it’s cold to protect plants. Unobtrusive color blends well almost anywhere. Simple assembly. All our little herb plants are partying!

Perfect for my patio. Only issue is the drain indicator does not seem to work well.

Very east to assemble. I liked it so much I ordered a second one.Growing carrots in one and potatoes in the other.

I am using this for an herb garden on my porch right outside the kitchen. Fits a decent amount and the underneath irrigation is great. Seems sturdy and I like the little leaf to indicate when water needs to be added.

Pretty awesome for container/raised bed gardening for the price. The drain at the bottom helps with getting the excess water out. (I leave it in the open position to prevent the roots for rotting.)It's on the smaller side from most beds, but it fits in my tiny garden fairly well. The shelf on the bottom is awesome for storage (and stability).

I have been searching for a raised garden for a while. Either the ones I want are out of stock or they just are not what I was looking for. Found this one and decided to give it a try. It arrived in Hawaii pretty quickly and was super easy to put together. I have been able to replant my mint and basil and plant some lettuce seeds. So far it has lived up to my expectations.

First I already had one of these before ordering 2 from Amazon; the product is great and a must have!! Also with all the problems listed below I still want the bloomer. My real issue is with the customer service that was provided by Amazon every one was polite but there was a very oh well attitude. Apparently, the item is too large for the mail carrier's truck (really). I was receiving notices that the items was delivered only to discover on my 3rd phone call that they were still at the post office and I would need to pick it up myself.I asked was it possible to have it delivered though Amazon delivery (an option that the customer service rep mention) but was told that carriers could not be switched once the item left the warehouse (so why mention the possibility of Amazon Delivery). When I asked what would happen if I reordered the item and was told no one could tell me at this time. If the same problem occurred then another refund would be issued. Basically, we will do nothing to prevent the problem and this Groundhog day will just continue on a loop (rinse & repeat). When you hear from Jeff how concerned he is about customer service this is not only surprising but just tells you that the company has grown too big to provide customer service. Very unsatisfied with Jeff's store.

I bought this for my outdoor screened in patio as a neat little stay at home project with my daughter. I let her assemble it as it was really that easy, and she loves it. It holds a ton of dirt, and there is plenty of space to work and plant. The seed tray for new growth is especially cool, as you can watch your newer stuff sprout on it's own. It's super sturdy, looks great, and is well built. I haven't quite figured out how to use the water level stuff and have just pretended it's not there for the most part, so I'm not too sure how useful it is. Cool idea in concept but not so easy to implement in practice.

It's great, I use it in my home because I live where there's not enough light to grow stuff, so I need grow lights. Right now it is home to lavender and a christmas cactus, and I'm going to add cat grass and garlic :)

Overall easy to install, sturdy but seems like you could tip it over easily. I bought it for my grandma to garden in, its size is not too large would be good for herbs and lettuce. She planted radish and spinach in hers. Just installed today so I'm not sure how well the over flow mechanism works. I think in comparison to the others that I own this would be better at a lower price.

I don't have a yard so this is a great alternative way to grow veggies. I've done carrots, jalapenos, and bell peppers out of these and they work GREAT!

I wasn't sure when I ordered this but I was impressed with the overall quality, appearance and ease of assembly. It works very well. My only complaint is I wish it was about 12" longer. Everything we have planted is growing like crazy and my wife and I are brown thumb specialists. If we can't kill it no one can.

I bought one of these and put it on my screened in patio to grow small edible plants. Its not large enough for things like most tomatoes but for small things like herbs, it works great.Assembly was easy, anybody can put this thing together. Once assembled and stood upright, its sturdy enough to not fall over under its own weight but not sturdy enough to get bumped often. Don't put it in a traffic area and it'll be fine. The self-watering feature is awesome. It holds a lot of water and, even in the Florida summer, we can go on vacation and not have to worry about it for a week if we fill it all the way before leaving. One thing to watch is planting plants right near the end in a hot area. This enclosure conducts the sun's heat into the dirt with surprising efficiency. The result is that the soil immediately behind parts of it exposed directly to the sun heats up too much to grow anything there. Its annoying but not the end of the world. The filling spout and the float that tell the water level worked great at first but they get gummed up by soil and perlite and eventually stop working so well. You can't exactly just pull all the dirt out and clean them so you're sort of stuck with it. At least they give you some indication of where your water level is, though.I wish it were a little cheaper for what you get but it serves me well.

I love this planter box! I wanted something light but sturdy that could hold all the herbs I wanted. This planter is above and beyond what I was looking for because of the water reservoir that keeps your plants from getting too water-logged. Because it’s summer I haven’t had the little indicator pop up yet to signify the reservoir was full, I water near daily given the weather, but my little balcony gets a lot of morning and noon sun which keeps my plants dry. I was able to put 10 small herb plants in and they are doing AMAZING in this box! Everything has just exploded. 2.25 cubic feet of soil filled this perfectly. I added a natural fertilizer/feed to the soil as well. My dad added the wheels for me so I can bring it in once it turns cold. The metal legs are hollow so he pounded 3/4 inch wood partially up into them for structural support, connected them with more 3/4 inch wood (the bare wood you see) then attached the wheels to that. I bought black screw cap covers to hide the screw heads on the legs and it’s VERY sturdy and easy to roll around. I’ll be painting the bare wood eventually to match the legs. It’s well worth the $85 I spent (I heard it’s slightly cheaper at Home Depot but they didn’t have it in stock near me or online). The only one very small drawback is that the long sides do bow out a bit with all the weight from the dirt, a little thicker plastic on the long sides might have prevented that, but honestly there’s so many pluses I hardly mind.

This is a great solution for gardeners who need to do their gardening on a small patio. I got it to grow my herbs. The elevation makes it easy for this 76 year old to harvest. I like the visual watering indicator. Why not 5 stars? It needs to be on casters. The herbs are growing towards the sun. If I could turn the garden, everything would grow more evenly.

It’s a very nice planter. However, I am disappointed that the inner tray came broken when it arrived and the two small tray at the bottom do not fit nicely. I called the customer service and still waiting for a replacement. I was told that it would take 3 - 4 weeks, if sooner 2 - 3 weeks. It’s such a long wait. I give it 3-star and I’ll update later, and hope the replacement come sooner.Update: Down to 2 stars. I still haven’t received the replacement parts 3 months later. At the end I have to glue the parts together. Water also started to leak from the screws at the bottom of the planter. Disappointed.

I was so excited to get this product. It came. I had just about finished putting it together when I couldn't get the plug (stops water coming out of the bottom of the planter) to go in. I looked and it had not been properly made and would never go into the opening (see plug picture). Then I went to put the cross supports for the box in and the slots were on the short sides and needed to be on the long sides. Called Keter and was advised they would send a new plug but they could not send a new box and I would have to ask Amazon to replace. I contacted Amazon and it was replaced. The replacement had the same two defects. I called Keter again and they said they would send another plug (2-3 week shipping) and I could try to open the side "slots" that had not been cut but showed where they should be. I used an EXACTO KNIFE (purchased thru Amazon, of course) and it was easy to cut the slots. I was able to put the cross supports in the slots I cut and a light hammering of the plug stopped the water from coming out. Hopefully, the new plug will be properly made and I will be able to replace the plug I had to force in. If only, I had been told to cut the side slots with an exacto knife. I have put plants into the assembled planter and AM NOW VERY HAPPY with it. (See picture of final product with plants in it. Please do not fault the planter for the few dead plants...I am not a gardener...yet!)

Love this! Saved my back. It’s small. Our local Sams had a larger one, so I bought three total. Put lettuce herbs and tomatoes in them. Never watered them separate from the 10 minutes at night that the automated system has. Always found moisture meter in the green. Don’t use the littleseedling growing thing with it. I put tomatoes in them and then could not get the seedlings out without damaging the plants. The plastic is too stiff.

We received our 2nd planter last week. Noticing that water was leaking from the bottom I discovered that it has 4 open holes on the bottom side. My 1st one, has closed holes. I'd rather not return but If Keter can send me 4 plugs that go into these holes, that would help. Otherwise, I'd like to replace. Awaiting your reply Keter, thank you.Images attached.

I doubled my porch garden this year and bought a second one. I use them for root crops like carrots and beets and for onions. They work very well, look nice, and serve my needs well.

I wish I could give this 5 stars. It went together in all of two minutes. It is sturdy and cute. I plan on putting it on the side of my house and herbs and tomatoes. BUT there is a watering component where a leafs will float depending on water level. Attached to the leaf is supposed to be a red stick. I DONT HAVE IT. Didn’t come with the packing. Missing piece. It’s too cute to return (not worth the wait to return and have a new one ship). I’ll just have to be a bit more vigilant about watering. If a red piece for the leaf could be sent to me I’d be over the moon.

It's really sturdy. It's growing my tomatoes well. The one thing that doesn't really seem to work is the moisture monitor. It seems to always be in the same position. I'm happy to be able to grown inside my pool screen to save my tomatoes from the pests.

I like the size and ease of having some space to grow whatever you want, where ever you want it.The design and convenience make it practical and easy to maintain with the spout that releases anyexcess water. I put a small garbage container under the spout, so that it is there to always catch the moisture/drippings.

I’ve loved having a raised bed for Arizona gardening. I bought two of these. It has been perfect for growing kale and spinach and herbs. If you’re wanting it to grow larger vegetables like tomatoes, zucchini, cabbage, broccoli, this isn’t the type of box to buy, but it’s great for smaller growing plants and herbs. I can fit 6 lettuce leaf heads or 6 spinach plants in one box. I tried growing cabbage and one head of cabbage took up almost half of the space. This planter box would be perfect for flower gardening too.It was very easy to assemble and it’s very sturdy. The drain spout does drain slowly.

We love this planter it fits perfectly right next to our window for indoor growing.Definitely bows slighty in the middle and once full it would be challenging to move. The water trough and indicator is great feature that is more forgiving than a traditional planter.Looks very nice.

I love this planter! The only complaint I have is the support beams were so difficult to put it I wasn’t able to install them & as a result the side is bowed. Also I want a second one but the price varies so much ($60 - $179) & as of this review they’re out of stock so no idea when I’ll get to order it.

Great planter for veggies. I planted lettuce and celery, and they are both doing great! Much better than pots that were on the ground. Much less issues with insects and cats. They drain function works well too to remove excess water. I am very satisfied.

Have only had plants in them for a month. Will see how well they hold up through the summer. So far I'm pleased with them. Seem to be sturdy and were very easy to assemble. Wanted to buy more but was only allowed 3. That displeased me.

I live in San Francisco and enjoy a nice southern exposure with my bay window. In my early years, I was a landscaper, still do some for friends/family, along with my entire condo complex that covers a block. I love to grow things and was looking for something to have my garden without 40 flower pots. I found this Keter, along with the larger wicker style, but opted to go small first; now I want two, side by side. Assembly is easy and the directions are simple and to the point. I love the drain spout as if I go on a trip, my plant watcher doesn't have to worry about water on the floor as if the floater is high, the planter is fine. It's an easy way to drain water as needed. So far, have peppers, tomatoes and carrots growing. I highly recommend! Isaiah is constantly tending the farm.

Just received and assembled this week planter, based on other reviews. I've yet to fill with dirt and begin use, due to pandemic hitting. But it appears to be just what I wanted for my apartment's balcony. Sturdy and well designed (it will save my back from bending) it's is the perfect solution for balconies. I'm happy with purchase and will be even happier to begin planting.

This is a great product. Perfect size for planting herbs, lettuce. No bending to water or planting.Durable material, I feel it will be around for a long time. I love the that you have a drain for when we get the occasional down pours, and can drain off all the excess water. This garden bed is a great size for apartment living.

I have tried several of these and no luck. This one is the bomb! All of my seeds sprouted beautifully it’s easy to keep hydrated. It’s easy to see the water level. It has turned my thumb totally green! I even planted and routed lettuce from my refrigerator!

Love the planter, but it did arrive with a bow in it along the long side as well as a flaw in one small area. Not sure if the flaw was through delivery or manufacturing process. Have not used it yet, but purchased because saw it at a friend's house. Aesthetically pleasing to look at and small enough to fit in any location, it was perfect for our patio.

It was easy to put together and way sturdier than I expected. I bought this for herbs in my hothouse, but I almost wish I'd gotten this for my lettuce as well. I can't quite figure out how the water drainer works.

Lightweight, easy to assemble, sturdy. the drain feature is amazing and the shelf underneath is functional. For the money, this is what we needed in a California coastal condo patio. Highly recommend for smaller places that need a functional planter.

These planters were easy to set up, they look way better than the homemade earth boxes that I had in this space before- I was able to grow buternut squash and cucumbers in these with no problem- the self- watering feature is great- you need self-watering pots to really be able to produce a bounty- anyways, one of these (we ordered three) came with misshappen plastic stabilizing rods- (the ones that go through the middle of the container to hold the two longer sides to each other). I e-mailed the day that I received these and I just received the replacement part last week (over four months later) - so the container worked while I was waiting for the parts, but the sides were bulged out and that container looked misshapen compared to the other two.

Love this. I bought 3 of them to put on my deck for herbs and small veggies. The only thing you shouldn't put in here are tall vegetables becasue its not deep enough. But for herbs, cherry tomatoes, small peppers, its fabulous. All summer we had fresh herbs and we are just getting veggies like bell peppers and carrots(wouldn't recommend carrots) and you can start any seed in the seed starter which is a great feature. Most of our plants were from seeds. If it wasn't for my 2 large Labrador retrievers we would have had a lot more. I love them so much as they match my furniture. My husband was not into these at first he thought they were not going to work but they do. They have 2 drains one on each side that let you hold the water or release it. Very well built and sturdy, clean lines and contemporary looking. Its made out of a plastic material but it looks really high end in my opinion.

I like the planter, but I've only had a few days. Was so easy to put together without any issues. It takes a couple of minutes. The only issue I had was the divider that keeps the planter from expanding when you fill it with soil was broken and working on getting a replacement. Hopefully, that won't be an issue... but I do like the planter.

Overall love this... So much that I have two.I'm sure it all depends on the light and soil (and I made a good mix), but man my plants are happy here! Most amazing planter for the price. Highly recommend. (Would advise the manufacturer to have an instruction book on use though-- at first I wasn't sure if we water the whole planter or the pipe)

Great patio container. Legs are metal. Box is sturdy plastic. I’ve bought a total of three so far. I do notice that once filled, the hollow metal legs cut through the rubber cushion “feet” and make an impression on the patio floor. I placed them on wooden blocks to avoid damaging the floor, which also gives them a bit more height.

I have no idea what I'm doing, but for some strange reason I got this overwhelming urge to garden this year, for the first time in my life. I don't want to make a proper garden in my yard until I figure out whether this is just a passing fancy. So I bought this thing for my deck. I planted 6 herbs plants I got from home depot (mint, thai basil, rosemary, cilantro, parsley, and thyme). It's been about a month, and they've all exploded. I was pleased with this result, so I bought another and planted chives, jalapenos, regular basil, lemon balm, and white tea. Glorious success. I've now purchased a total of 4, and this is getting out of hand. My strawberry planter is gloriously lush after only about 2 weeks, and I'm giddy about my tea garden. Is this what happens when you turn 30? You get excited about planters and the kinds of herbs you use to season food? That is kind of depressing but whatever, I can now make pho on a whim without going to the grocery store, so win. These things are stupid easy to use. The self- watering feature and little floaty leaf are great for a ditzy novice like me. Setup was easy and quick. The whole thing feels really flimsy and cheap, but functions perfectly so I can't complain too much. Looks pretty nice- a little bit cheap but not too ugly. I think these things are great overall- I definitely recommend them. I do have to say they're rather spendy though- they're literally half the price at home depot fyi.

I did a lot of research on herb garden planter beds before deciding, and I am so glad I chose this one.Putting it together took around 5 minutes. The instructions are topnotch. (I’m an instructional designer, and this instruction manual is one of the best I’ve seen.) It makes creating an outdoor herb garden that’s easy to maintain a simple process. As for the product, it is lightweight yet durable with a functional, well thought out, easy-to-use design. I will update once I see how my herbs do.Update: Herbs grew wonderfully in this planter! Highly recommend.

I have been container gardening on apartment decks and patios for awhile, and I really have fallen in love with this planter. It is a great design, I like that it comes up to waist height so I can stand up and not have to bend over. It holds a fair amount of soil. A proper potting soil mixture will wick water from the reservoir quite well. The mesh at the bottom on the reservoir seems like it will hold up well, even with a bit of root penetration. It feels sturdy on this planter. Obviously the one drawback here is the price, 100 bucks seems like a lot, however if I think it is worth it here. I will probably buy a few more of these when I can afford to expand the garden more.

I haven’t put soil in yet but it seems strong n went together with no tools in 5 min. However the fact that it doesn’t have wheels is a big minus fir me . It’s going to be extremely difficult to mice around since after soul us in it will be too heavy to lift without two people . So 4 stars

I was expecting something with a bit more plastic-y look and feel and that is not the case. This planter appearance will fit perfectly on my composite deck and, at first glance, is clearly designed for zero maintenance. Assembly was well documented pictorially and required no tools - unboxed to complete in under 10 minutes. I haven’t grown anything yet, but if my plants grow then I will credit the planter, having been only moderately successful in the past!! It is highly likely that I will buy another and say goodbye to battling the clay soil forever.

First thing I noticed was how nice this planter looks. Not cheap at all. The size description is accurate but it still was smaller then I expected, probably because the ones I saw everywhere, that were a different brand, were larger. Not disappointed though. The quality is high. Not sure if the drainage hole will do the job. Seems like the water runs out slowly, but I haven't put them to the test yet. It might be fine. I would definitely buy another. It is visible from inside my house and again, it looks great.

I bought two of these Urban Bloomers, and they are perfect for my flowers. I did not use the green sprouter boxes, because it is the wrong time of year, but I plan on using them to start a vegetable garden in the planters toward spring. These raised garden boxes are quite large and sturdy, with plenty of room for anything you may want to put in there. They are attractive too, as you can see from the photos :-)

So far I love it! The planter is plastic made to look like wood planks but the legs are metal. It’s light weight and was very easy to assemble with thoughtful instructions that pointed out common mistakes so do pay attention to the instructions. I’m putting in my lettuce starters today!

I really like these containers and the tomatoes, strawberries, romaine lettuce and collard greens I planted are doing great. There is just one small flaw. The two braces which are suppose to keep the sides of the containers from flaring out when filled with planting soil did not work properly. They were too flimsy and didn't stay hooked in place. So far, I have not had a problem with the planters even though these braces are ineffective.

I like this product - easy to put together and without tools, and will work well on my patio. However, I went to Home Depot and there was the same product for $59.98. Wish I had not already put it together and filled with dirt as now I cannot return it. Disappointed for so much of a price difference.

This thing is awesome. I got the black one to go with the color of my deck and its very cute. It has a nice wood grain look and its so well made and simple to put together and it has easy to understand instructions (no tools needed). Its also pretty sturdy. I'm using it to grow herbs outside that I plan to bring into my basement for the winter, so I can stop spending so much money on grocery store bunches of herbs I never fully use up. Only caution is that is a good size but its not huge. I think I'm going to be able to grow about 8-10 bunches of herbs in it. So if you're planning to grow a lot, you may need more than one. Otherwise, I honestly love this thing. The water indicator and little seedling planter is perfect (the seedling planter has holes for drainage...they thought of everything). Also the extra water collects in the bottom but doesn't just pour out...you have to pull the rubber plug to do it....which is great because 1) I don't want dirty water all over my deck and 2) the water can be saved for re-watering because its nutrient rich. Last point, its a very nice finish plastic so doesn't look cheesy or cheap. Usually I only like wood, metal, etc...but this almost looks like stained wood panels and will be much, much easier to clean and will last forever without maintenance. Trust me, I'm picky as hell about decor items and functionality and this is a really cute piece for being plastic. Its a definite buy and thanks to the manufacturer for building a good quality, very cute, very environmentally friendly planter. And the little shelf underneath helps to hide our ugly deck light switch and holds my watering can and citronella candles...sooo awesome! Thank you!!!

This planter contains a fair amount of crops and all are doing excellent. I have it on my patio and it is perfect for small spaces. I planted in it a couple varieties of lettuce, 4 bell pepper plants, chives, and scallions. I highly recommend this product. I caution to check local prices before purchasing this on Amazon though. I paid double on Amazon than what I could have paid at a local big box store (HD).

Got it today and already wanted to leave a review. I assembled it in about ten minutes with ease. It's built well for being plastic and love the shelf at the bottom. The only minor complaint I have is that the plastic notches meant for the small bars that crisscross weren't cut all the way, so I'll probably have to take a knife or something to cut it out. If I want the bars on. The seedling planter is thick and well built with water drainage holes at the bottom. It's a nice addition to have.If you're looking for something simple to have on a deck or small space, this is definitely worth the purchase! Will come back to this review later once I've put my herbs in it and have gotten some use out of it.
