I converted my front yard from grass to desert landscape and planted some drought tolerant plants. To avoid manually watering the plants I purchased this drip irrigation kit. This kit is really easy to install, i just took out my existing sprinkler head and use the 3/4" connector to connect to my existing sprinkler pipe and ran the tube to all 10 of my plants using provided drippers, mister nozzles and flow sprinklers. Installation was really simple and easy, i was able to get all of them connected in less than 1 hour.I highly recommend this drip irrigation kit for its ease of installation, varieties ofconnectors and spray heads and its affordable price.

Tubing is a kind of soft and smells that gets more soft under the sun and I got 2 connections off out of 10 under sun connections. But you might reduce the water pressure in the main tubing with a pressure regulator. Water pressure reduced from 55 psi to 25 psi in my situation.Every water spot need 2 cuts and 4 connecting pushes from main tube to dripper and every connection holds high water pressure. Once set there is double work to arrange. I got many rearranging fo my system. There are manufacturers that provide all weather 1/2 and 1/4 in tubing. You could punch a hole on the tubing and insert a dripper, or seal the hole by inserting a removable plug. High pressure exists only in main tubing and pressure after droppers is very low, so no barb for easy 1/4 tube connections.

A couple of key things to note.1. We've never purchased a drip irrigation kit before. And this was easy.2. We used this kit for a planter that is roughly 28ft x 9ft. And one kit was plenty for the amount of plants we had.3. It comes with different types of heads, so I used drip, mist, etc. on different plants according to what I thought they'd need. And then you can twist the heads to adjust the amount of water that comes out.4. We attached the hose to one of our sprinkler heads (not a faucet) and ran it all the way down the planter and attached the smaller hoses along the way to water each plant.5. The spikes have kept the heads down in the group next to the plant it's watering, but we did purchase a separate set of stakes shaped like an upside down U and pushed those down over the hoses throughout the planter and it felt more secure.6. We covered it with bark and it still works great.Lastly, we are planning to purchase another for another planter in our yard.

Very easy to assemble, and the 1/2" tubing provides enough pressure throughout the system. I would have liked a few more of the red spiked heads...they work very well..But I made due with the blue sprayers.

The quality of the product seems poor. It is very difficult to connect the 1/4 inch hose to the barbed connectors, even when placed in warm water as suggested. If not on exactly perfect, they tend to blow off from the water pressure. The 1/2 inch hose split on me for no apparent reason. Also there should be at least one 1/2 inch tee connector included but there is not.

Not bad, buy back, a week to go home flowers no one watering, it is not worried about it, a week no problem. If you spend a lot of money, you can get two or three
