Will make a perfect vegetable garden. I got really good help from the vender, too. Now considering buying a second one.

It was well built except it does not sit level. We are using it inside so we are able to shim it to level. The base must not have been bent properly on both sides.

Took less than 15 minutes to assemble. The metal framing of this planter is of a sufficient gauge to last for more than 1 season and also true of the plastic used for the plant boxes. Purchased this planter because I wanted something easier to maintain than “in ground” and to increase herb production. Although the design allows water to flow from the top planter to the bottom planter, the hot climate in my zone was a concern. So, I opted to install a drip line to each planter box using tie straps on the rails. In addition, I’m lining each planter box with weed barrier fabric to retain the soil, minimize clogging up the holes for the water and keep air circulating to the roots (shown in photo-top planter). Once the growing season starts and if this unit performs well, I will be purchasing 3 more.

My husband and I wanted to start a herb garden to grow our favorite herbs such as basil, cilantro, rosemary, dill, etc. This vertical harden planter was a great option for us because it can easily be moved and placed indoors or outdoors and looks nice and decorative. The metal frame weighs 22.5 pounds so it’s not too heavy, but is stable and sturdy. This also has five (5) container or planter boxes that are about twenty (20) inches long, so there’s plenty of space to grow herbs, plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables. The fact that this is a vertical garden planter makes it easy to grow and maintain herbs and plants without having to bend down and strain our backs, unlike a traditional planter. This was super easy to assemble and took me less than ten (10) minutes to assemble by myself. At first I thought the instructions were missing, but I quickly realized that the instructions are posted on the side of the box since it’s so simple. Even without instructions, I would have been able to figure this out on my own simply by looking at the photo and because the parts are pretty straightforward and self-explanatory. This requires no tools to assemble which is nice. You just have to snap the frame parts together and attach the hooks to the container boxes and hang them. Each planter box has a drainage system with drain holes on the bottom and a root tray to prevent root rot and there is a hole on the front side which allows the water to drip from top to bottom. Each container box is detachable and can easily be moved or rearranged which is convenient. Overall, this is a lovely and decorative planter and we can’t wait for our herbs to grow!

It should have screws to keep it together but other than that its fine.the wire supports are a little cheesy but they hold up just fine. I would have given it a 4.5 stars.

The multi level plant rack was part of my home grown of herbs in my sun room. It helps me organize the plants and give it a lot of room to grow and spread out. Since herbs are always spreading like weeds, the each level helps contain them and stay on their own level. It is also a good space saver since it’s tall and the pots are off the floor and be all over the place. Also no need for me to bend down to water. The plant rack is easy to assemble and even with multiple pots and containers in the compartments. It stays in place and would not flip over. It is easy to clean up as we try to avoid any water build up to attract bugs and bacteria. The racks gets heavy with the pots and the soil so it does need two people to move it around the sun room and move it onto the deck for some natural direct sunlight. I have moved it to different spots many times and there are no issues of it falling apart or shifting on rods and baskets. Cleaning of the rack is easy as I wipe it down to get soil off. I also had some spray for plant food and often get onto the rack but there was no discoloration at all.

╔ ■ Price Point / Value: 5/5╠ ■ Quality: 5/5╠ ■ Recommendation: 5/5╠ ☼ Overall: 5/5╠ ►Product Need: Compact garden platers╠ ►Product Pros: Look, drainage, tiers, guarantee, quality, assembly╠ ►Considerations: Heavy╠ ►My Review: If you need to garden and don’t have a lot of space, this is a great compact tiered 5 planter box system for patios. I needed a dedicated space for my herbs and came across this as a solution that would allow me space for 10 different herbs. The assembly is easy in 10 minutes, and will first notice the quality and how heavy this is prior to adding the bag of dirt. It is recommended to find a great space that will give you the perfect amount of sun so you don’t have to move later. The boxes are thick plastic and have a really good drainage hole system. If I ever decided I don’t want to use it for my herbs any more this would also be great for vegetables or even pretty flowers. Be sure to buy great dirt for the best results too. The frame is made of metal and wasn’t sure of its ability to stay upright, but quickly put at ease after assembly. Overall I am impressed and would recommend this planter system.

The elevated planter is extremely easy to assemble and the metal has a nice sturdy feel to it. Each piece just slides into one another and the hooks slip over the plastic planters and then you can hang them on each bar. You can water from the bottom if needed in the hole in the bottom middle of each planter or if you over water from the top you can drain the water out if needed. These would be perfect for a small herb garden even on a patio of an apartment.

Let's start by saying this has been a very odd year this year...and I'm not just talking about the Rona. It snowed up here in May and this summer has been the longest, hottest, driest summer I've seen in over 20 years. Needless to say, it's been difficult to get a good harvest from our garden this year and it's going to put a bit of a pinch on our pocket book this winter. I decided to be proactive while I can and pick up a couple things for next spring. This was a very reasonably processed, LARGE, tiered planter in comparison to some others I looked at. It was really easy to put together. Pretty much two metal supports that slide into each other, metal basket supports that pop right on to the plastic and hang perfectly angled off the main structure. Angled is great because it gives more head space for keeping my seedlings in there longer.Fully loaded with soil and manure, the basket supports didn't bend at all or feel/look like they were going to fall off. The top two plant baskets I drilled holes into the bottom for my more finicky seedlings that need a better aerated soil to sprout. And the greatest part was that there was enough gap in the rails to put one of my four head grow lights on the side rail and it stayed firmly and was the best spot to be able to maneuver the heads for the light to reach the seedlings and not be so close to fry them. I'm sure it would look great with decorative plants too but this is going to be an excellent way to make sure I get a decent growing season next year!

I have put together 3 garden planter sets in my backyard. This is the 2nd of the three.PROS- Assembly was very easy and quick- Sturdy, metal frame- Planters above that have been watered too much will have the liquid overflow to the bottom ones- Vertical stacking allows for easy access and space usage for plantingCONS- If the final, bottom planter overflows with water, it goes straight down to the ground and could cause some havoc on the wooden deck. Be aware of that potential drainage problem if used outdoor in a storm- Placing the planter onto dirt can rust the legs- The 3 frame sections cannot be locked in-- If picking up either of the top, two sections, the bottom one(s) will stay put. I wish that all 3 could be somehow locked so you can grab any part of the frame to move the planterOverall, nice little addition to the backyard for growing herbs.

This planter is a perfect size for small spaces. We don't have a huge yard, but this tiered garden allows us to maximize our space and really display our plants in such a perfect way.I put this together solo in less than 10 minutes, very easy assembly. It's got a beautiful minimalist design, too...Its all-black look goes well with my minimal theme. The space-saving tiered design lets me have multiple plants in a small area. Its drain holes in each bin allow excess water to seep out. I found the frame to be sturdy and hopefully, won't be easily knocked over because of added weight or strong winds. I'm using it indoors now but it looks like it will work for indoor and outdoor gardening.Honestly can't think of any cons right now. Very happy and I hope we can use this for many seasons to come. I'll update this after about a year.

I purchased this planter to use on my deck and I could not be happier with it. My husband assembled it very quickly and it is made from strong, quality materials that seem very hard to break. There are five different shelves that can hold plants, flowers, or even knick knacks. The stand is 41.3 Inches/3.3 Ft tall which makes it a very nice height and doesn't require a bunch of kneeling or bending all the way down to the ground. The overall measurements of this are: 21.6" (L) x 19.7" (W) x 41.3"(H); the Container boxes are: 20" (L) x 6.7" (W) x 5.5"(H).The bins are pretty deep and there's even room for soil. The water does not pool to one place either and getting sunlight on every plant is possible with it's step like design. I am very pleased and would recommend this to absolutely anyone! It's a great way to use a small space while adding a beautiful array of flowers and greenery to enhance the atmosphere. Although i love the placement on my desk it really could be placed anywhere in any room and still look just as great. I cannot express enough how great and functional this stand is.

I am an aspiring gardener with dreams to grow strawberries, chives, tomatoes, basil, and oregano (to start). I do not have a lot of yard space to make garden, raised beds, or to put out a lot of big pots. I researched and asked several gardening friends. They recommended using vertical space. I found this awesome vertical garden planter and am so excited for my growing opportunities! It's simple in design. You put the outside, metal legs together. Then use the hooks to hold each of the box planters and hang onto the frame. There is even a drainage hole that I arranged to face the back. It's so strong! I was worried it would topple over when loaded with soil and eventually witth growing plants. That hasn't been an issue at all. My kids have even bumped into it with no damage to them or the planter.I love that it is solid black, allowing it to blend with my outdoor furniture. It stands about four feet, tall but not so tall that I can not reach the top to water it. I put the tall growing tomatoes at the top and the strawberries at the bottom. So far, they are growing. I am excited to eat my harvest, all thanks to this vertical garden planter!

Great for my home with a small yard. This multi-tier planter feels very durable and it was easy to install. The good thing is that it offers vertical planting that would save a lot of space in my backyard and that would also protect my plants from snails and other insects on the ground that eat my plants. Great for planting herbs for cooking!

Easy to put together and perfect for narrow deck.

Easy to assemble, and seller is responsive to inquiries. The only thing I wish the product would improve was the spacing between the planter boxes. You have to plant the plant/seeds on the outer part so they don’t get smashed by the planter box above it. If the product can be made to have some more spacing in between the planter boxes, and still keep the cascading water system, it would be so perfect. Overall, it serves its purpose while being mindful of small space arrangement.
